We spent two absolutely delightful weeks at the Idi Hotel in Zaros and were thoroughly impressed by this family-run establishment's warm hospitality. The hotel's location at the foothills of the majestic Mount Psiloritis is simply breathtaking, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty.
Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was the familial atmosphere - the staff was consistently helpful and thoughtful, making us feel genuinely welcome with their small gestures and personal attention.
The authentic Cretan breakfast featuring regional products was a daily highlight, and the proximity to the charming village of Zaros allowed us to experience genuine Cretan life. The mountain landscape provides excellent hiking opportunities, and after active days exploring, the hotel offered the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
The value for money is exceptional, and we will definitely return, if we'll visit Crete again. For anyone seeking a peaceful, authentic accommodation away from mass tourism, the Idi Hotel comes with our highest recommendation!
