Taverna Loggia — Restaurant in Municipality of Festos

An honest review from someone who has visited Kamilari for over 20 years. This restaurant is run by a German and therefore does not feel authentic. The food, except the pastitio, was very good. The restaurant looks very cozy too, and it's a nice place to sit. However, it does not have the greek hospitality, it is too "luxurious" and really misses the Greek touch. If you like simple and something Greek (local), dont go here. If you like more a touristic touch, go here for sure - the food is very tasty.

The service was bad tho... the german waiter was only talking to the german guests and forgot about us. We were not served a second round of drinks, they did not check up on us, and it felt like they forgot about out table. Service needs...

Great taverna! No wonder the rating was so high! There is a big variety of daily cooked dishes and the service is amazing. They offer you to visit their kitchen and see all the pots to dicide what you want to order. Unfortunately we visited the taverna quite late and as it was getting dark, I didn't have a good lighting to take pictures of all our courses. We had the greek salad, sardines, tzatziki and lamb. Everything was cooked to perfection, but I found sardines too salty. I didn't complain because I'm used to cook with minimum salt, so it's quite common for me to find food in restaurants too salty for my taste. The customer service was very warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. Very nice and quiet...

We can highly recommend this place. We've been here twice during our rather short stay in beautiful Kamilari. It features a cozy atmosphere with many fancy plants in the opensky eating area.

The friendly staff and the super tasty food will amaze you for sure. Our Nr. 1 recommendation here.

In contrast to earlier reviews there is now a drinks and menu card with all prices shown. The chalk board shows a daily special menu in addition to the standard menu. No need to see the kitchen for choosing your food (Sept 2022).
