This restaurant doesn't take reservations which leads to there sometimes being a large queue in order to enter. However by selecting the right day and time to go, this issue can be avoided.
Having tried Fajitas, Chimichangas, one of the Salads, Chili con carne and Nachos, I can say for certain that the food was good, with the exception of the Nachos, which left me rather disappointed at their lack of freshness. To better describe my nachos experience, it felt like eating market bought nachos, after leaving the bag open for half a day. Overall it was a good food experience, with a rather peaceful aftermath in comparison to other attempts I had with mexican cuisine.
The cocktails menu seemed interesting and the Margaritas were smoothly blended. They are favorable towards juice enjoyers, as they are watered down adding quantity to your glass and increasing the rate at which they can be consumed.
The service was great. Staff was really friendly and helpful with everything and they even offered us free Margaritas at the end!
The atmosphere was rather cozy and the decorations were truly spectacular. The one downside would be the music selection being seemingly random and not...
Read moreWorst meal experience in Greece so far, not necessarily the food but the service and hospitality! One meal came out way before the other and he even slowed down his eating and he was 3/4 done before mine arrived. Itâs not rocket science to time meals coming out together nor did we dine out to just sit and watch the other eat! The table next to us actually asked to remove a meal from their bill because they refused to wait any longer. Not one time were we asked if the food was okay or needed anything, including another drink, which we ran out of almost 30mins after finishing our food and getting the bill. The food was spicy and surely could have used another water if nothing else. We had to ask for said bill and got an attitude for asking (the nerve of us)! Not just that, they went through a shift change right beside us and not one employee even looked to see if we needed anything or could remove our plates. Not just the worst experience in Greece, the worst dining out experience ever. It was also the most expensive meal we had!...
Read moreMediocre and overpriced, this is an exceptional Mexican experience for people who havenât actually had authentic Mexican food.
I went here with family on my friendsâ recommendation and the nachos with guac were the highlight of our meal. We ordered a burrito (with chipotle meat) and a chili con carne, both of which were disappointingly mediocre:
The burrito was so bland I almost forget how it even tasted (which was a letdown, as I love the aroma of chipotle peppers) and the chili con carne was closer to a spiceless meat soup with queso â yes, the chili con carne was more soup than solid. It didnât have enough beans or nearly enough spices.
For a total cost of about 25 euros (for 2 mains and a side), this was underwhelming. There are better Mexican restaurants in Athens that are somewhat cheaper too. The only thing I give this restaurant credit for is its interesting decor; it has a really fitting (considering its name) La...
