Absolutely loved our 3 day stay in the Sea View. It was a short stay prior to our cruise although unfortunately, we had to cancel the cruise due to problems with my knee.||Irrespective of this, the hotel and all of the staff were amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable with a decent size balcony. I'd asked for a room on one of the higher floors overlooking the gardens & pool & they were very happy to accomodate. The pool area was really lovely with plenty of beds, loungers & chairs of all types, shaded and in full sun and it was a lovely touch to have a never ending supply of fresh pool towels available. Lunch round the pool was delightful and the club sandwiches (especially the smoked salmon one) are just amazing. Made with love I was told and it really did feel that way.||The options for breakfast were really, really good with fresh fruit, no end of pastries and sweet, sticky things as well as a wide selection of fresh bread, cheeses, yogurts, honey, fried fruits & fresh preserves plus a cooked breakfast offering ( although we didn't try this as we always choose to eat a more local diet on holiday)||However, the overwhelming reason we loved our stay is the staff. Every single person there from housekeeping, bar staff, the reception team to waiting staff was charming, helpful, efficient & incredibly friendly. Their attitude turned what could have been a miserable 3 days waiting for a flight home into a truly delightful stay. Nothing was too much trouble and I have to call out Kristina (or Christina) especially as she was so delightful and brought me endless bags of crushed ice to help my poor swollen knee and we had some delightful chats. ||Despite the pain from my knee, I was really disappointed to leave such a lovely and welcoming place and when we next visit Athens, this is the only hotel we...
Read moreStayed here in the end of May 2024, room 208. There is no sea view from this hotel. Or may be a bit of it only from the top floor 🙂 Overall impressions: very good and helpful personnel. Cleanliness in the hotel. Unfortunately there are also number of serious minuses that determined my rate. Hotel is located near the street with medium traffic and the window installed in the room provides literally no sound insulation. You can hear even bird singing through completely closed window. So we were not able to get a good rest/sleep during the whole stay. We informed personnel about that, but they couldn't provide us the other room, as they had full booking at that time. Bathroom equipment is old, on one photo you can see the sharp burr on the shower, so we scratched ourselves with it several times occasionally. Toilet flushing system is made without the water tank, as a result sound when you use it reminds the jet plane during take-off. Extremely inconvenient during the night for your partner. In addition to that toilet door is made of smoked glass, it allows light to go through. Door creaks like hell during opening and closing. Very strange solution. Breakfast is basic and the same every day. You won't be hungry, but it definitely could be better. Complementary water is provided only once, it is not renewed during room service. Can not recommend stay here...

the facilities are tired and in the bedroom we booked (as double room) was actually with 2 single beds pushed together. you could feel the step between the two materasses while in it. Also the materass on the right hand side was squeaky and made noise all the time you were turning. Astonishing considering we booked a double bed. Also be aware that coffe is not free in this hotel: in the bedroom Nespresso coffe capsules for 2 Euro each!!!!!!. I mean charging for coffee capsules is absolutely mental. in other better hotels don't charge at all or simply dont give it which makes it look better. I mean we come from London and these charges look ridiculous also to us. before booking consider that the hotel is close to a busy highway which separates you from the closest beach. The closest beach they recommend is appalling (they charge £50 for weekdays and £80 for weekends). Scam prices. they say is 7 minutes walk when is instead 20 considering there is a builing site that they dont tell you about. they dont tell you that if you can take the tram (3 minutes walk) you can get to Kalamaki beach which is beautiful has got beds for £15 each and is...
