A Paradise Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Heraklion

Paradise Beach has to be the best beach I have visited during my stay here, whilest most beaches are the same this one brings a bit more premium to the experience, starting off with prices these are a bit over medium with beach beds at 15€ and beach chairs at 9€ 18 for a 2 pair and most bar priced drinks at 3-5 euro for beer and soft drinks. On the plus side both the chairs as well as the beds have a soft foam material and a waterproof exterior making them super comfortable. Waiters are super friendly and allways greated us with a smile ,they walk arround and ask if we need anything else from the bar. As a special mention I asked for some lemon to go with my bear and they brought me exactly that a slice of lemon and a ice bucket for my beer, small detail that made a big difference for me personally. Beach is clean and people are nice, can not say I have have any experience that made my stay there unpleasant will definitely come back...

Extremely negative experience. My girlfriend and I were treated very rudely and aggressively just because we started eating some food we had brought with us. No one informed us at the entrance that it was not allowed, and the only note was a tiny message on the price board saying “not allowed to bring anything,” written in small letters and without clear explanation of what or where.

According to Greek and EU regulations for tourist services, terms and conditions must be clear, specific, and transparent—vague or hidden messages have no legal value as consumer information.

When we pointed this out and decided to leave, the staff began yelling at us, demanding we pay anyway—even though we used the sunbeds for less than an hour and had never been properly informed. The manager and owner were aggressive and impolite, with zero respect or tact toward tourists. Totally unacceptable behavior. Not...

Huh this was a little weird there. First the patron did not want to give us one of the tables with comfortable chairs, as this table was only for people ordering bottles of hard alcohol. It was 7 pm on a Sunday and nobody ordering bottles of hard alcohol was in sight... Then it took ages until they brought our drinks, and when they arrived, the waiter managed to spill most of them across our table...

The positive is that in that area there is a really nice beach, just 10 minutes from Heraklion airport away. You have a good view on big ships running into the port as well as on airplanes arriving...
