We first visited this gem back when it was in Monastiraki, and when we heard it had moved to Ierapetra, we made sure to return — not just once, but twice during our stay! The food remains absolutely top-notch, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re dining in a friend’s home rather than in a business. Babis and Ioanna’s warmth and hospitality make every visit truly memorable.

What stands out is that it doesn’t feel like they’re just trying to expand their client base — it feels like they’re building something genuine, a place that grows naturally through care, passion, and authenticity.

As for the food, there are several dishes you simply must try: the perfectly grilled Pork Skewer, the juicy Beef Patty, the flavorful Shoulder Steak (pork), the traditional Tsigariasto, and the delicious Skioufihta (Cretan pasta) with apaki and cheese. Each one is prepared with love and delivers true Cretan flavor.

The food was so impressive that, for the first time while visiting a new city, we returned to the same restaurant twice just to try the dishes we missed the first time.

Right in the heart of Lerapetra, the spacious courtyard makes you feel like you’re in the central square of a charming old village. The atmosphere is amazing — a mix of friendly locals and a few international guests, all cared for by a fantastic team that’s both welcoming and highly professional.

The kitchen is outstanding, and the prices are absolutely fair. I highly recommend the beef liver, lentil salad, stuffed mushrooms — and all the other delicious dishes :D
