Aperitton — Restaurant in Municipality of Ierapetra

Breaks my heart: We have been coming to this place for the past 5 years every summer multiple times during every stay. Often with the whole family of 8. The food is good, the drinks are nice — everything paired with a beautiful view. We were always happy to go here because everyone was so nice and welcoming. This year I had to learn that Aperitton has changed. I don't know if I have ever been treated so badly in a restaurant before. You feel bad for ordering, nobody asks or cares if you are happy with your order. To clarify: We were more ore less the only guests on said day. Super unfriendly waitresses. I was 10 seconds away from taking my empty plate to the kitchen myself and apologise for eating here. Three waitresses sitting around doing nothing and putting stuff on the table without saying anything. Maybe it was because the boss wasn't there that we were treated like intruders because when he entered all waitresses jumped up and started working and even cleaning tables. It was ridiculous.

Very sad and probably the last time we came to this place. After all there is alot of good competition...

The food was delicious, I had a Texas burger (7 euro) and the person with me had pasta with vegan basil pesto(7.5 euro). Burger was amazing with a great taste except for the handpicked cucumber, it wasn't a good fit for the food. The pasta with vegan basil pesto was great but there was too much of it. Maybe even enough for 2 people. The staff was friendly and kind. Being next to a sea is a great atmosphere and there were playing great...

This is quite a lively place. Inside the music is rather loud, but there is also a large outdoors area, with tables along the beachfront. We had some American-style pancakes with ice cream.
