Paragon Brewery & Taproom — Restaurant in Municipality of Ilioupoli

Very low-key, warehouse/industrial styling. Definitely not a fancy place, but that's not necessarily bad - on the contrary. It's impressive to see all the huge stainless steel beer vats in the back behind the bar, where the various (and super-tasty) beers are actually brewed. Roughly 10-12 beers of their own, from aromatic IPAs to Lagers and chocolatey Stouts, and 3-4 selected (equally tasty) beers from other Greek brewers. Strictly on tap (nothing bottled). They will, however, bottle some on the spot for you to take home.

Now, an equally important part of the experience is the food one will be pairing his/her beers with. Well, there is no kitchen. Absolutely no food (apart from some potato crisps). However -and here's the titillating bit- the staff are perfectly ok (in fact, they suggest it) with you bringing your own food or ordering food in! Which is what my group did (thank you BOX app), so you can choose what you want at home delivery prices.

We visited Paragon after thinking of going for a long time. The industrial decor adds character to the experience. The beer selection is impressive. There are many beers on tap but also some cans/bottles. I also saw there is a variety of other alcohol to choose from. What sets this place apart is the option to bring your own food, allowing a personalized dining experience. The music also brings the best of the place. Will definitely visit again. This is really an interesting place and concept where you can find more than 15 different kind of beers on tap.. The facility is split in two areas, the one with the beer containers where the manufacturing process is taking place and the second is the service area. Very friendly staff, excellent quality of beers and decent prices (around 7€ for 500ml)..
