ITALUS — Restaurant in Municipality of Kallithea

The place has its special style and character that makes difference and attracts by its features. The classy modern design should be highlighted right away, very cozy ambience and chilling out music create an amazing delight from the first notes of being inside. Really interesting shop with exceptional menu choices that differ from the already accustomed any other street food. In terms of price and quality I would say relatively pricy for the not enough quantity that was expected, it was minimal and economic portions for the money it costs objectively. As per taste, the dishes were nice, but not fantastic sure, just simple NICE, need improvements and additions, especially burgers are poorly assembled with the ingridients, excists a lack of products which dont make you full. Logically you pay more for the concept generally. Not bad but not for an excellent mark. I was won by a waffle Choco Cup and really enjoyed a new way of coffee drinking, pretty smart idea with an eating cup that was delicious rather than coffee itself ( the coffee was not of my tastes, I prefer mild to bitter one). Anyway it was a pleasure to treat oneself with a sweet Cup. Awesome! The staff served us was polite and pleasant. And no smoking!...

I was very hesitant to write about this place for selfish reasons. This is a hidden gem for all those working with their laptops and need a place with big tables, loads of jacks available for every table, very good stable internet connection. It's convenient for business meetings, dates, coffee-brunch-desert breaks. The menu is great (savoury pancakes, banana bread, paninis are one of my favorites), the staff very friendly and the WC is ALWAYS Impeccably clean 🥰🙂. I really hope it won't become too famous 😆 cause then I won't have anywhere to work (when I need a break from my home/office) and no matter how hard I try to find alternatives (for variety and practical reasons if I'm not near kallithea area) no other place can beat all those features I described above 'Italus'...

Staying in Greece for about a week and this is the only place we have come to twice, it’s that good!! Both times we came here, we ordered 3-4 different dishes and every single time the food was top quality. The pizza is soft and loaded, the smoked salmon English muffin is to die for and the coffee is so rich, the best I’ve had. The two chefs, both names Dimitris are clear experts and Evina is the kindest most professional waitress you could possibly have. The atmosphere and decor is gorgeous and so incredibly thought out....
