If you happen to pass by in Kallithea, then you may want to visit this place. The location of this place is exactly in front of exit gate of Kallithea station. It's very small, so you may want to sit outside if there's no place inside. I tried their beetroot salad, methismenes melitzanes (literally means drunken aubergines, but they were actually fried aubergines served with yogurt sauce), kreatopita (meat pie, which was totally delicious!! Popped in here on a whim because we were in the area and saw that this place highly reviewed by locals. True enough, it was excellent. After getting past the difficulty of understanding the menu (there's an English menu, but many of the names of dishes are still in Greek), we ordered the sujuki saganaki (sausages baked on a bed of cheese) and the fried zucchini balls. It was a bit pricey for the small portions, but otherwise the meal was great. Another local haunt worth visiting if you need a break from the standard tourist fare...

It’s a really nice place with really helpful and nice staff. The atmosphere is great, as it is in a really cool and quiet location! The food is great and you have to try as many plates as you can.
