Sirocos is hands down one of my favorite places in Kalymnos. It sits right on the waterfront, with the most peaceful view of the port boats gently coming and going, a breeze off the water, and a golden glow at sunset that makes everything feel magical. But as beautiful as the setting is, what truly makes Sirocos special is Spiros.
Spiros isn’t just the owner he’s the heart and soul of this place. I’m lucky enough to call him my cousin, but even if I wasn’t, I’d say the same he’s one of the kindest, warmest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. He greets everyone with a smile, remembers your favorite drink, checks in just to make sure you’re happy it’s the kind of hospitality you can’t fake. You don’t just feel welcomed at Sirocos, you feel loved.
The food and drinks are always fresh and done with care even the orange juice is freshly squeezed, which says so much about the standard here. Everything is relaxed, inviting, and full of heart. You come for the view, you stay for the vibes… but you’ll come back for Spiros.
If you’re in Kalymnos, Sirocos isn’t just a recommendation...
