Homu Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalymnos

Came to this place because we saw a review online about how good the chicken wings were and we also saw that they had sushi and we haven’t had sushi in a long time. The chicken wings were delicious and very tasty. Some of the best wings we have had. The banana dessert roll was also very delicious. I liked the crab tower roll the best out of the 3 lunch rolls. The other two rolls of California and spicy crab tasted just like regular American sushi. The ‘sushi’ is not sushi at all. The rice is simply steamed and not seasoned, making it completely tasteless. The ‘black sesame’ is actually nigella seed which overpowers everything and doesn’t belong in sushi. Bland, pathetic excuse for sushi/japanese food. Shocked as to how it has any good reviews. Save yourself the disappointment and skip visiting this place.

Went there for lunch right when they opened. We had tried their fried rice and sushi two years ago and loved it. This time it was wasn’t as good.
