Mixed feelings.

Loved the food but not always. Loved the service but not always.

The owner (I presume) has lived 35 years in the US so his American English is spot on.

Do go there! The stuffed artichokes are really good! The mezes on the list? Great! At least the sardines. Well, it was pretty mild but good.

The daily specials? Really, really nice but just lacking some heart, I think? Or maybe just a teeny weeny chilli? Just something to not make it just good but great!

The thing is, everything is really good! But not standing out, just good.

Now, stand up, and make your food exceptional! You probably have always done it but now, let your genius, culinary mindset free!

Thanks, it was...

We absolutely loved this place! From the moment we found this restaurant, we couldn't resist coming back every single evening. The menu is refreshingly short, which we see as a very good sign. They also offer a set of daily specials, giving you a wide range of choices no matter what you're in the mood for.

The quality of the food is superior, and what we really appreciated is how honest they are. The menu clearly indicates which dishes are made fresh and which ones are prepared from frozen ingredients. This transparency is rare.

A must-try is the fried zucchini—simple, yet absolutely heavenly in taste. If you're looking for an authentic and perfect dining experience, is the...

First off! What a great guy the owner was! Had such a funny sense of humor and was very welcoming!

The appetizers were absolutely amazing 🤩 Especially the spices and the simplicity of every dish: I gotta give it to them, Spicy Stuffed peppers and Grandmothers balls were really impressive! I’m sure these appetizers were the best in Pigadia. Same goes for the tomahawk pork chop which was juicy and tender! The wines were solid too! And the owner didn’t cheap out! Even got us tasting portions off other traditional Greek dishes! Very nice of him to giving the guests a guide in the kitchen what...

Went to this tavern for lunch. This place has a lot of choices of food to eat. We tried their fried calamari (served with fries), makarounes (traditional pasta with cheese and caramelised onion topping), and Mydia Saganaki (mussels saganaki, cooked in tomato sauce, peppers, onion and feta). The fried calamari was really soft from inside, while crunchy from outside. The makarounes is good, while the mydia saganaki is bery tasty and delicious. At the end of our meal, we were offered mousse with coffee flavor. Very kind gesture of the tavern.
