OCEANIS HOTEL — Hotel in Municipality of Karpathos

This is a lovely place to stay in Pigadia. It is centrally located, with walkable restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Ellinikon is highly recommended for a meal you won't soon forget! It is also very easy to park in the area with street parking and free public lots nearby. Rooms are newly renovated, spacious and include private balconies to enjoy the view and ambiance of the area. The breakfast each morning is expansive and rich with choices. Beyond that the staff and family that runs this hotel are extremely warm, friendly and accommodating. Although I traveled here alone they made sure I felt at home and consistently checking in with me to make sure I was seeing the best things of their Island and enjoying every minute of my stay. I would recommend anyone to stay here whether alone, as a couple or with family. I would also say that this is the perfect place to stay and then explore the rest of the island by car so that you are close to the airport with easy access to all the treasures of the Island, both in the mountains and the variety of lovely beaches. We've spent a wonderful week in the Oceanis hotel. This was a special stay as it was our honeymoon. The hotel was informed in advance and they treated us very special for the whole stay. ||The owner and the whole staff was very kind and always available for help. I would like to highlight Nicholas, the receptionist who smiled all the time when he saw us.||We had a nice and newly renovated Superior room. Our room was very clean, there was daily cleaning and the towels and the bedding were changed twice during our stay. The room had a balcony with a nice view to the sea. The bed and our pillow was very comfortable, so we had great sleep every night. There was enough space for our dresses and the air-condition worked very well and it was quiet.||The breakfast was great with a wide range of breads, jams, fruits and unlimited greek yoghurt. My special favorite was the daily home-made cakes. ||The hotel has very a great location and is a great place to start your trip in Karpathos.
