Ta Kopsidia — Restaurant in Municipality of Kastoria

The only reason that this review isn't on one star is because the meat was decent. That's where the positives end. The fries were beyond terrible. The service was outrageous. We didn't get menus or even water for over 30 minutes and after ordering we got our food exactly an hour and thirty minutes after. We didn't get any water after asking multiple times until we got food. The only thing the staff had to say is that we happened to be there on a "change of shift". Although I doubt that they changed the entire shift at 3 pm sacrificing their service for the most crucial hour of the day. I was there early autumn '21. Entry only to vaccinated people. Was lucky enough the weather was good and we sat outside. Our appetizers was tomato balls, cheese balls, stuffed "florinis" (red pepper), grilled "batzos" cheese. Our lunch was 2×"kotsi", a handmade stuffed burger, a pork steak and a "psaronefri" fillet. Παρήγγειλα μια medium rare μοσχαρίσια μπριζόλα με σαλάτα. Από την σαλάτα με μαρούλι, παντζάρι, ρόδι και πορτοκαλί, (όλα εκτός εποχής) το μαρούλι μου έβγαζε πικράδα.

Το ψήσιμο της μπριζόλας ήταν έτσι και έτσι, ικανοποιητικό στο μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι της αλλά σχεδόν ωμή ακόμα δίπλα στο κόκκαλο, δεν με χαλάει και ιδιαίτερα αυτό αλλά πρέπει να αναφερθεί.

Το χειρότερο με την μπριζόλα όμως ήταν η μπριζόλα η ίδια. Είτε το κομμάτι είτε το ζώο το ίδιο δεν έκανε για μπριζόλα καθώς όχι δεν κοβόταν (με το ίσιο μαχαίρι που μου έφεραν με την μπριζόλα το οποίο ήθελε απεγνωσμένα ακόνισμα) και είχε νεύρα παντού, κάτι που έκανε την κοπή της, σε συνδυασμό με το μη-πριονοτό μαχαίρι που μου έφεραν) ακόμα πιο δύσκολη, αλλά ήταν και πολύ σκληρή. Μια medium rare θα έπρεπε να είναι πάρα πολύ μαλακή. Δεν την περιμένω να είναι λουκούμι, που γίνεται και αυτό, αλλά αυτή ήταν από γοητευτική.

Τελος, ζήτησα ενα πριονοτό μαχαίρι όταν ήμουν στο 1/4 της μπριζόλας, και μου έφεραν ένα άθλιο μαχαίρι με στραβά δόντια, λίγες μπουκιές πριν το τέλος.

Το ένα αστέρι που έβαλα ήταν γιατί οι τηγανίτες πατάτες που την συνόδευαν ήταν όντως πολύ ωραίες.

Ελπίζω με την κριτική αυτή να βελτιώσουν κάποια πράγματα, αλλά και παλι δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση να ξαναεπισκευθω το κατάστημα. Δεν ήταν ένα δύο μικροπράγματα, σχεδόν όλη η εμπειρία ήταν...
