"Miltos" Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Kastoria

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE! We went to a school trip with my school and this was DEFINITELY the best place we ate at. The food was SCRUMPTIOUS, LIKE YUM YUM and the portions were HUGEE! We got two Ceasar's salads (we got a second one because it was absolutely delicious) and I won't lie, it was the BEST Ceasar's salad we've ever eaten. We also got schnitzel with mushrooms a la creme (without mushrooms though, my friend isn't really a fan of mushrooms) and the portion was MASSIVE, the taste was amazing, but not gonna lie, it was a bit too oily for me, not for my friend though. The schnitzel came with rice and fries. We got baked potatoes, which, well, they were just baked potatoes (they were scrummy too though :3). We weren't really hungry, so that's all we got. Everything was mouthwatering. The service was PERFECT, LIKE THE WAITERS WERE SO NICE AND WELCOMING, WHATTT??? They joked around and treated us like friends! They were really polite. Awesome service. The restaurant itself was very beautiful, it had a very friendly atmosphere. I liked the way it was decorated, it reminded me of old traditional houses in Kastoria. Overall, I (and my friends, I believe) am very satisfied with everything. If I ever come to Kastoria again, I'll make sure to visit this restaurant. Even though we liked the food we were really pissed off to se the bill where they had charged us 4 Euros for bread. They explained they charge 1 euro/person for the bread which we didn't even order in the first place. This is a complete rip off and they should have informed about this policy before bringing it to the table. I felt this was dishonest of them hence I will never go back there again, neither will recommend...

Ήρθαμε από μακριά βλέποντας τις κρητικές που ήταν πολύ καλές ( μάλλον αγορασμένες ή από φίλους του ιδιοκτήτη) ήρθαμε στις 1:15 , ο σερβιτόρος ήρθε 20+ λεπτά μετά και ενώ τα ορεκτικά έκαναν κανένα 20λεπτο να έρθουν τα φαγητά ήρθαν μετά από 1:40 λεπτά. Ο σερβιτόρος μας έλεγε ότι τα φαγητά έρχονται ανά 20 λεπτά.... Με το ζόρι μας είπε και καλή όρεξη. Η μοσχαρίσια μπριζόλα ήταν σε όποια θερμοκρασία ήθελε ο ψήστης παρότι μας ρώτησαν και για την θερμοκρασία αυτής , το κασέρι με μέλι ήταν σαν την σόλα από 12€ αθλητικά και το μέλι το ψάχναμε όπως και το σουσάμι. Μπιφτέκια γεμιστά τα οποία ήταν άδεια και το κασέρι από πάνω με πατάτες που περιμέναμε μέχρι να κόψουν επειδή "είχαν τελειώσει" για γαρνιτούρα και μια coca cola που ήταν η τελευταία του μαγαζιού για κάποιο λόγο. Δεν συνιστώ να έρθει κάποιος πάρα των καλών κρητικών που όπως είπα είναι και πιο πάνω είναι αγορασμένες ή φίλων...
