Balero — Restaurant in Municipality of Kifisia

Devine place in terms of atmosphere and nice service the back garden its like a gem . People put serious effort and money to craft that place. The service was very nice and very well trained we didn't have to wait for anything everything was coming to us beforehand. Congrats on that.

Unlike the above the food was average and kinda expensive for the quality of flavors served (don't get me wrong I'm trying to help that place with the review.) Ive be in several Mexican shops in Greece and ofc out of Greece that I mostly live . The recipes were there the execution was missing. Luck of flavors intensity of aromas and vibrant vibe into the food . Mexican food is all about punch in a face with the first bite cause of the seasoning and the citrus coming out that kind of food , that we didn't get . Food for thought.

We didn't tried and cocktails but I'm sure there were some good ones cause the waiters was bringing cocktails back and forth all...

My husband and I went at a Saturday evening, along with the kids and another couple. All and all we were 8 persons. Booking was fast and rather painless. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Only good vibes from them. The place is very nicely decorated, spacious but completely packed. Covid checks at the front door were respected. The food was decent. Can't say that we were thrilled, but was ok. The portion sized though were smaller than expected. For example, ordering tacos, you get only two small sized ones. At first this might fool you to think that it's a full portion for one person. Alas! At 6euro you get what you pay, but at least change it to three. What left a bad impression though, was that after some time, the waitress asked us if the children, who were sitting on the table next to us, could relocate to our table, by adding some chairs! We strenuously objected of course, but was a bad move from...

One star for the terrible service from the person i think was the manager. The food wasnt great either but i wouldn't bother writing a review about it. What i do bother writting for though is the fact that i was soaked in someone elses red wine, which was ok as we’re all humans and mistakes do happen,( and the waiters were actually very nice and friendly) but the manager didnt even bother to offer us a drink or desert to make up for the fact that i was soaked and stained too . When i informed him about it he continued being ignorant . So yeah. Maybe if u start caring more about ur customer service u might get more stars but for now lets just stick to 1 and thats pretty decent for the petty attitude of...
