R / C Travelling north — Restaurant in Municipality of Kifisia

We visited this restaurant following an advert on a popular newspaper.

The initial feeling when arrived was “hmmmm, let’s see”. We were greeted by the host - gave us a corner table. Ordered 2 starters, 1 salad, 1 1.2kg fish, 2 bottles of beer.

Starters were very tasty - grilled aubergine was awesome - smoky flavor and tasty. Anchovies were as expected but the the vegetable bed combined with good olive oil made the combo very balanced. Peeled tomato salad was OK. Good olive oil, tasty tomatoes - a bit basic. Fresh fish was oven cooked as recommended by the hostess - never tried this specific one in such way. It was delicious! Slightly underseasoned but nothing difficult to deal with a bit of salt and pepper. Indeed it takes about 45 minutes for the fish to come but you are informed in the menu regarding this.

Overall is gorgeous place and prices are in the expected range for fresh fish. Definitely will visit again and totally...

We recently visited R / C Travelling North in Nea Erythrea and had a truly outstanding experience. The atmosphere is warm and tastefully designed, with a distinct aesthetic that lives up to the restaurant’s name — it really does take you on a journey.

We tried the taramosalata, fava, and grouper, and everything was exceptional. The taramosalata was one of the best we’ve ever had — smooth, rich in flavor, and perfectly balanced. The fava was beautifully prepared, creamy in texture, with subtle garnishes that enhanced its depth. The grouper was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection — moist and flavourful.

Service was attentive, friendly, and well-paced, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

Food is OK a bit pricy. The service was fast but uncompleted (didn't propose any drinks we had to ask for it). The staff was very polite except one member that might be the owner? He was acting like we were bothering him..also the restaurant is not kid friendly as we've been told to keep our 2 children (20 months and 30 months) quiet and not to touch any tables around us.. By the way the tables were empty.. If kids bothers the owner they should change the policy of they restaurant! Overall this restaurant is...
