Papaspirou — Restaurant in Municipality of Kifisia

They’ve got some great produce and some not so great produce. Definitely worth trying their koulouri for example which is fantastic! On the other hand I bought some pre-packed breadstick- they claimed they were new but were completely stale and old.recently I bought some melitzanosalata- they claimed it was “100 percent” smoked aubergine. I tried it- tasted nothing like aubergine and a lot more like mashed potatoes. It even had the consistency of mashed potatoes (which is of course completely different to aubergines). I went back to enquire about this as they had completely misrepresented the product and they kept maintaining that they use nothing but aubergines. Having prepared something similar many times I know exactly what it should taste like and what consistency it should have. As expected they don’t list ingredients anywhere. By far the worst catering service in the Attiki area! The owners are obnoxious and rude beyond belief... I had ordered several items for a lunch party at my house, to be picked up at their N. Erythrea shop. The order was placed by me with the owner himself. The items were not there at the agreed time and they rudely told me I had to go and pick them up myself from their production facility 20 kms away!! , which left me stranded and looking for an alternative at the last moment! Not only did they never apologise for their mistake, but the owner called me the next morning demanding to be paid for the goods I never received due to their fault... To be avoided...

It’s an amazing place with good products and coffe. But we had a very bad experience. My husband and I had small tiropitakia and got light food poisoning almost immediately. When we went to let the manager know the next day (not sure if it was the owner) All she gave was excuses of that it cannot have been from their place!! Mind you we had not had anything else. And we went with good intentions just to let them know. Instead we just got approached with excuses that it cannot have been from their place. Will not go back there because of the bad...
