We ordered a traditional dish lamb Kleftiko, served in a clay pot, meltingly tender and full of rich, comforting flavors, topped with creamy feta and herbs, and every bite felt like a taste of Crete.

Me and my family visited this lovely little tavern on the side of the road for dinner while driving back from Elafonissi Beach as we found it had good reviews on Google. Surprisingly, when we arrived there was no-one there and throughout the entire time we were there only one other family had a table there, making for a rather quiet but homely atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and the best we had had in Crete, and we could tell it was made with love, and the service was perfect as well. Delicious, fresh, simple and traditional food! What a surprise to find so mouth filling food on the road in the middle of nowhere...way better than all expensive and fancy tavernas and restaurants.
