PortoEye — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

We had dinner here and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. The food quality was extremely poor. They did not serve any vegetables, and the meat was of very bad quality. We ordered chicken wings, and they arrived almost burned and very dry. Some wings had broken bones, a strange smell, and even blue stains inside.

When I mentioned this to the waiter, she took the dish back to the kitchen but never addressed the issue — no apology, no replacement, just returned later to charge us the full price without shame.

The other dishes, including the meat and chicken fillets, tasted off and shortly after eating, our whole family developed stomach aches and had to go to the pharmacy for medication.

This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this restaurant and would strongly advise others to be cautious about...

Went in here for a drink last night. Plenty of people going in so asked for a table, they have three floors we went to the top floor. We had to wait a while for a table. Eventually we were shown to a table, the young girl took our order on a tablet. Within a couple of minutes she returned and had lost the order we gave the order again but she forgot the drinks order? We were told 50 minutes wait for food? Eventually the drinks came but the starters were nearly 45 minutes I ordered garlic bread with cheese it was on pitta bread I didn’t accept that. The mains came within another half hour. Nothing special had a lot better and cheaper. They were moving people who had drinks only for people who wanted food. Thank you for a lovely meal with you guys. It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted to pop down to the harbour for dinner. Checked out trip advisor and Portoeye looked like it was worth visiting. We absolutely loved it! Great location, roof top setting with a great view of the harbour and beyond. Service was wonderful, very professional and we loved the team work. We had starters, main and a bottle of local wine and everything was lovely also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
