Nonna Rossa is the worst place to go to. Even one star is too much to rate them. Arrived at 22:05 to dine with a friend. Plenty available tables for 4 but we were asked to wait for an available table. After 15 minutes we were shown to our table and one of the waiters brought us a bottle of tap water. After that NOTHING at all, no one brought us a menu, waiters were not paying attention to us signalling them. After more than half an hour a waiter finally approached us asking if we had already ordered. Hard to order without a menu!! We were given ONE menu which for a restaurant this size of Nonna Rossa is really shameful. We had to ask twice if someone could take our order and both times the answer was 'one minute please'. In the meantime it had started to rain and our table was not under a canopy. The only positive thing I can say is that they helped us move our table under the canopy. At 23:35, when the rain finally let down a bit, we decided to leave as still no one bothered to take our order. Nonna Rossa is definitely NOT the place to go...
Read moreI used to have a higher opinion about the service here but this year got disappointed, no matter there were 3 waiters hovering over us while laying the table, they were not friendly and nice like we are used be treated in Larisa, Greece generally and the speed was lame. The food did not impress me either, the salt was totally missing in my seafood pasta and to get one was a struggle as no one was paying attention. The cocktail came in surprisingly small amount in different glasses than we used to have here and was overpriced for these drops. The kids had tomato buffalo mozzarella pizza which was maybe the only satisfying part of the dinner. The millefeuille was not comforting, either, was just some pieces of puff pastry and scoops of ice cream. Once it used to be a heavenly one and we were going back there over and over for this dessert. All in al my whole admiration is killed this year. The location and the atmosphere...
Read moreDo not go to this place, terrible behavior from the owner of the place - We visited this restaurant 2 days ago with two of our friends and on our entrance we got asked whether we wanted food or drinks and we said food as we specifically visited the place to have pizza. We ordered our pizza and beers and as soon as he took our order he told us "if you told us you were going to order just pizza we wouldn't sit you here". My husband wanted to lighten up the conversation and said "sorry but we didn't want a full dinner only pizza, after all we are of a certain age we shouldn't really eat a full diner". So the impolite owner said "well it doesn't look like you don't" insinuating that we look like we are eating a lot. Very disappointed and also very offended by...
