Sorokos Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Leros

I visit Pandeli every summer. It’s truly one of my favorite places for the sea and beaches. Unfortunately, we experienced a very upsetting incident today.

At a beach venue called Sorokos, we agreed to pay €30 for two sunbeds, which was completely fine for us. However, while we were having a meal at the neighboring restaurant—planning to return shortly—we discovered that our personal belongings had been touched without our permission, and the sunbeds had been emptied. Our items were moved and placed on a chair behind.

We rushed back only to be met with a highly disrespectful attitude from the manager, who used aggressive gestures, touched our personal belongings, and forcibly removed us from the area—even though we had already paid the requested amount.

We had no issue paying for the sunbeds; the real problem was the rudeness and the complete lack of respect for personal boundaries. I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment, as no one deserves to be treated in...

This place tries to scam you by claiming they don’t have internet therefore can’t pay via credit card to force you to pay cash. They also do not provide a bill or itemized receipt of any kind. We had to file a complaint at the police station for them to give us a receipt. They miraculously produced the bill and the receipt they claimed they threw away after the police officers called them. The food was hit and miss. We had breakfast and lunch while we used their beach area. Greek breakfast plate was okay but their continental breakfast was meh, calamari was chewy. The worst place in Pantelli. Don't even bother going. Staff rude as! They are trying to overcharging you if you are not aware! Paid €30 up front to keep the sunbeds in the morning. They were asking €20 for reservation. I said no not paying that. Anyway ended up getting 2 sunbeds. 4 o'clock he said time to pay the bills. I said no worries. He asked €45 l said what for? I paid already €30. He said no you paid €20. I tried to explain to him. He got upset started talking to me Greek. I said talk to me English. He understood not gonna scam me. Asked me €15 on top of €30. Food is terrible....
