We stopped by hoping to dine in, but were told the restaurant was fully booked, even though it appeared half empty. We went ahead and made a reservation for the next day.
Upon our return, only two tables were occupied, yet we were informed that all sea-view tables had been reserved days in advance. We mentioned we’d be quick, but the server said he’d check and never followed up.
The food was delicious and served relatively promptly. However, the presence of insects and bees made the experience less enjoyable, and we had to cut our meal short because of them. While we were dining, sea-view tables became available, but none were offered to us. Throughout our visit, the restaurant never had more than four occupied tables, and we struggled to get the attention of the staff, who either ignored our calls or didn’t return.
In all honesty, it seems they can comfortably handle only a few tables at a time, which is understandable. What’s disappointing, however, is the dismissive attitude of the staff. The food and view are certainly worth a visit, but the overall hospitality left much...
Read moreWe had high hopes for this seafood restaurant but unfortunately, our experience was underwhelming.
We ordered three sardines, one tzatziki, one portion of fries, one meatball dish, and a Greek salad. While the sardines and salad were decent, the rest of the experience left much to be desired.
First, the food arrived quite late, but we were willing to overlook that due to the visible crowd and busy atmosphere. However, several issues followed. The tzatziki tasted overwhelmingly of garlic, lacking balance. The meatball dish was the last to arrive and was disappointing both in taste and presentation. To make matters worse, the fries were served after we had already finished all our other dishes.
We shared our feedback with the staff in a polite and constructive way, but unfortunately, we felt dismissed rather than heard.
We understand that restaurants can have off days, especially when it’s busy, but basic timing and attentiveness go a long way in improving the overall experience. We hope the management takes this feedback into...
Read moreAfter spending a week in Lesvos, I can say for certain that this is THE best restaurant I ate at. The fish was so fresh and so wonderfully prepared, the salads were incredible, the garlic with the green beans was sharp and flavorful, and the feta with olive oil was delicious. Of course be sure to get some local ouzo as well! It is a local family owned restaurant and you can really tell from the warmth and friendliness of the service. The quality of ingredients/preparation is excellent and the food is local and traditional. The dining area looks right out over the water and has a beautiful view: there are also a couple of beaches accessible nearby if you go down some sets of stairs. Very relaxing vibe. Overall, 15/10, definitely recommend eating here if you are in Plomari - I went here multiple times and it will be the first place I go...
