Seven Seas Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Mytilene

We came to Seven Seas Taverna four times during our stay in Plomari — and for good reason! Despite its slightly touristic appearance, this is a true local family-run gem. The food is incredibly traditional, fresh, and full of flavour. You can really taste the quality and care in every dish.

The moussaka is hands down the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot over the years!). Add to that the lovely view over the harbour and a gentle sea breeze, and it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy authentic Greek cuisine.

The family running the taverna is also very warm and welcoming, which made every visit feel like coming home. Highly recommended!

Well cooked and tasty authentic Greek dishes. Seafood is the best, but meat and vegetable dishes are also good. Ate here on many occasions during the week we stayed in Plomari. In terms of food, there was no reason to go anywhere else, but we did it just for the sake of variety. This is a family restaurant where the owner, I think his name is Peter, is very keen that all his guests gets a positive experience. If you want a romantic dinner "en tête-à-tête", he will make sure you will enjoy just that. Are you a bunch of friends in a party mood he might even offer you one or two jokes. I highly recommend...
