Askos.iraklia — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

This was probably the best food we tasted on the island. The openers are great and the ravioli is truly excellent, although unfortunately in our case it arrived too salty. The chef was kind enough to visit our table and own it as his own mistake, which was a real plus. The pizza was also too salty but it was still good enough to enjoy. Last but not least, the prices are great for the quality and making sure these little mistakes are avoided, it will make the restaurant the best dining choice on the island, as the views that accompany your meal are...

An excellent restaurant with one of the best view of Iraklia. We had stuffed mushrooms as starters. Mushrooms were excellent with nice cheese and bacon in it, I highly recommend it. We had beef as the main course (today's special). Beef was extremely well cook and the piece was very generous. Congrats on this. The restaurant is in a great location up in the hill with the sea view and above the main village. The food is local, very tasty and more importantly it comes pretty fast compared to the other restaurants on the island where we had to wait for too long for the food and got annoyed. The staff is really nice and very hospitable. You should not miss their Tiramisu which is made just after you order it and it is made of local Xynomizithra cheese. Very delicious.
