My family and I dined at Zorbas this evening and although the experience started out on a good note, it ended rather poorly. We ordered red and white wines, which were delicious and a very good price. The tirokafteri and melitzanosalta were great, but the trouble started after our waiter, Adonis, seemed very disappointed that we decided against one of the frozen fish he kept trying to push on us. We ordered two orders of lamb chops, which arrived after we saw him running to a neighboring shop to pick them up. The lamb chops were truly just bones- there was one normal sized chop on top of the pile, but once we started eating, we noticed all the rest were literally bones and fat. When I asked to pay with a credit card, he announced it to the other employees at the restaurant. I was so flustered after the tense situation, that I didn’t even notice the surcharge on our €88 bill. The surcharge for using a credit card was supposed to be 4%, but the €88 bill somehow ended up being €98… this was a shady transaction and I would definitely be weary of using...

Very nice traditional greek taverna. I serves good food at a resonable price. We ate here 4 times during our 6 day stay. Our hotel recommended them strongly. We can recemmend the veal stew, the lamp chops, the spaghetti carbonarra, the zuchini balls and much more.
Very nice tables and a beautifull figg tree for shadow. This is not a waterfront restaurant but from some of the tables you can see the water. If you like a less busy envirronment this is a good choice.
Only downturns are… We had shrimps 2 days. The first day they tasted absolutely delicious so we went back the next day and ordered a double portion. They had bought new bigger sized shrimps. They tasted really bad. The quality of the shrimp was bad and had a dry “floury”/ stale taste to them.
We would have wanted to try the ovenbaked lamb, and for that reason we returned on a saturday. According to the staff they would serve the ovenbaked lamb on that specific day. When we arrived they didn’t serve it. So that was a huge dissappointment.
But anyway… a good choice if you want to eat in Paralio...
