Restaurant OINOYSSES Finikounda — Restaurant in Municipality of Pylos and Nestor

I came with some friends to this restaurant. The waiter was pretty nice in the beginning and surprised me and my friends with his German skills (we are from Germany). We asked him some things about the food like: how big the portions are and asked for some descriptions. The waiter started to get angry after a couple of questions and said that we would make fun of him. We were completely confused because we weren’t used to not being able to ask questions. Shortly after the waiter came back, refused to answer any further questions regarding the food. Then we left and went to another restaurant.

Foinikounta, small seaside town on the Messania Peninsula, we ate lunch at Finikounda Restaurant, which was authentic and delicious, sorry I forgot to take photos of each of the dishes. Not impressed. Only industrial grilled shrimps, fried squid and octopus salad. That was it for the fish selection. They use pretty much of olive oil on the greek salad. It has a great taste, but there was way too much oil on it. For greek prices, it's not the cheapest. Service is nice, great view to the sea. Their house white wine...
