If you're on a cruise and one of the ports includes Katakolon, then do yourself a favor by walking past all of the shops vying for your attention and SKIP all of the other restaurants so you can dine where the cruise ship crews do! After all, they know where to go...
Jimmy's brought such a smile to my face. No frills. They can accommodate small or large groups, as they've recently expanded! Service is fast for the food to have been cooked to order. Servers typically don't speak English, however, there are pictures in the menu.Order your food and prepare for deliciousness as you chill on the patio and take in the quiet ambiance that is Katakolon. This was just what our group needed after long excursions in Athens, Kusadai, and Mykonos. Portions are huge so you will not leave here hungry! We thoroughly enjoyed:
Greek salad had plenty of lettuce, olives, cucumbers, and a hunk of feta cheese!
Fried cheese...how could you not?! I made it my personal mission to finish mine and almost got another order!
Meat platter was full of beef, shredded pork, sausages, and chicken and was topped with fresh cut French fries
Their sweet wines are the best!!! So much so that someone purchased a bottle to take back...

Got into the cruise port and searched lunch places, they had a 4.2 out of 5 and even so, I wanted to eat here because they were responsive on google, replying to customer feedback. We ordered - SagaNaki,(amazing!) stuffed tomatoes(wife said was really good), pita plate pork, cooked perfectly (asked for extra tzatziki but was not needed) plate was a lot of food, wrap would have been fine. baklava was served warm with honey not as flaky as some other’s but still really really good, a previous review said Heavenly and they where not wrong! 2 cokes and a frappe coffee. All together was €45.50
Small staff but it works, and they work so hard. Also they may get sometimes 2-3 cruise ships in the port at a the same time. So consider this and let’s make this place a 5...

We both had the gyro platters and we were waited on by Natalia who is the warmest, sweetest and lovely woman. We honestly thought she was the owner only to find out she’s an employee. It that was my business- I’d be thanking God everyday for Natalia because she IS the HEART of this...
