After strolling around small but charming Katakolo we were a bit hungry. There are several options by the sea. This one had ok reviews, a good number of crew members from the cruise (always a good sign), a nice view, interesting menu and....some free tables, one right at front with good views (they have a huge amounts of tables).

The staff here was - despite it really was busy - extremely friendly. Two cold beers arrived quickly with the menu. Many items looked interesting, we were looking for some fish and/or seafood.

We decided on a seafood platter. Fried little fish, calamari, shrimp, octopus, cheese and some fries. Price was fair (for two). Everything tasted really good and fresh. The octopus was really tender (someting many can't pull off). We ordered two more beer....and they didn't arrive for quite a while until we reminded our waiter, but understanding it's a busy place. Came quickly after with the beer....on the house (because he kept us waiting). How nice was that.

Good food, nice views, friendly staff. Fantastic option here...

Our anticipation was high for our first taste of Greek food in Greece. Drawn in by the inviting seating and pleasant atmosphere, we decided to give this place a try. The service was commendable – polite and swift, which added to our initial positive impression.

However, our experience took a downturn when the food arrived. To our disappointment, it wasn't just subpar; it was genuinely inedible. We found ourselves unable to finish our meals and left them largely untouched. Perhaps it was just an off day for the kitchen, but it did leave us questioning our food expectations for Greece.

Thankfully, our subsequent dining experience in Nafplion restored our faith, as we were treated to some truly exceptional Greek dishes. While this particular restaurant didn't meet our expectations, we're glad to have discovered that it isn't representative of Greek...

Extremely disappointing experience on all levels. The food was of very poor quality and carelessly prepared. The souvlaki we were served was literally undercooked on the inside (clearly visible in the photo) and had a strange smell. Most dishes were greasy and flavorless — like the fried zucchini, which were soaked in oil and completely bland. The lemon served with the meat was visibly spoiled, with signs of mold. Prices were outrageously high for what we received — clearly a tourist trap. Worst of all, the staff had zero interest in serving us. The waiters looked annoyed from the moment we sat down, as if we were bothering them. Cold, indifferent, and unhelpful with every interaction. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you value your money and your health, avoid it. 📸 (Photos speak for themselves.)

Ok so I have two reviews here combined into one. My parents ordered this plate full of seafood and I had chicken souvlaki. My dish was not good but my parents really enjoyed theirs. The man serving us was very friendly and he did his best trying to communicate with us so thank you for being patient with us sir! This place was a few mins from where our cruise ship was docked so we picked it for its location, cleanliness and seating. It was a bit pricey as well so maybe for taste and price it was worth it for the seafood but for the chicken it’s a no.
