Bistro Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

First of all, the rating is not related to food or drinks as I haven’t tried them.

The owner was really disrespectful towards me. First letting a person taking his order before us - even though we were first. I did not mind

Then he talked to me and I thought he wanted my order. So I started asking coffee and he replied very harshly and in a bad tone that there is a queue and I need to wait for my turn - very ironic after what happened with the person arriving after me.

My wife told me straight away to go and people around that heard how he said it looked as well a bit shocked.

I know the bad review won’t impact anything there as there were a lot of customers + well placed area.

All stars, and not just like that! This was a real complete pleasure, in all possible sences. First of all, you're getting truely good coffee, and that was the main reason of our coming. But that's not all - the tasty bites - we tried carrot cake, and a salty one with spinache, both perfect. It is a very good place to have breakfast or brunch. A special impression - the atmosphere of the countryside, the cute village in the cretan mountaines, so charming! And last but not the least, the nice warm talk with the owner is something you can't get in the crowded city places, and that is what makes you feel you're welcome and makes you return. We will,...

after spending a night near elafonissi my girlfriend and i passed this cafe on our way back.

the owner is such a lovely person and gave us lots of helpful hints of restaurants or places to see. he is very interested in getting to know his customers which is great to see.

the coffee tasted delightful and he also explained how he makes different styles of cold brew. one sort of cold brew can be bought in recycled cans, which we did.
