This is hands down the BEST place to eat on the entire island of Rhodes! 🌟 I drove all the way from Lindos just to try it, and it was worth every single minute of the drive – honestly, I would have driven even further if I had to.

It’s a family-run restaurant where even the locals come to eat, which says it all. The food is simply outstanding – authentic, homemade, full of flavor, and prepared with so much love. Every dish feels like a piece of Greek tradition brought to life.

The owner and his family are some of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever meet. Their hospitality makes you feel less like a guest and more like a member of the family.

Savvas is absolutely my favourite place to eat on Rhodes Island. Its not a fancy place but the genuine welcome you get is second to non. It's a true family run restaurant serving real Greek food lots of which is cooked on charcoal. This is a place where locals eat and is open all year which says it all. The food is excellent with ample portions and extremely reasonably priced as are the drinks. I visited a couple of weeks ago in a party of four, we all had mezes starters followed by four mains, 3 litre carafes of wine and four very generous ouzos (please don't judge) and the total bill was 87 euros.
