These basket chairs were placed on an inclined slope as you can see. I sat down with my baby and the whole chair toppled over and I landed on the concrete (fyi i am average weight and was not swinging around wildly) . Fortunately baby was not hurt. I went over to one of the two main waiters and told him what had happened. My intention was to let him know that these chairs are dangerous and that they should remove them. Instead of acknowledging the incident and asking if we were ok, he proceeded to yell that the chairs fell over because it “was windy” and that they were “decorations” only. I told him that there is no sign that says “do not sit” (as you can clearly see). You would have to be mentally challenged to not realize that these chairs were placed for sitting! He continued to yell and be un apologetic. I was incredibly upset at his complete disregard for patron safety. They simply put the fallen chair back up. Surely enough, a set of people came along to sit down on them and I had to run over and tell them that they were dangerous! Oh and did I mention I am not Caucasian? When the waiter realized i was seated with a bunch of Greeks, he immediately became nice. (But still did not apologize not address the problem). This restaurant is so pretentious and obnoxious and has no regard for safety. I can guarantee you that if a patron were to collapse with a heart attack, the waiters would simply step over him and continue along. ...
Read moreAmazing and beautiful setting, water is so clear and great for swimming and snorkelling. Paid €5 entry into area, €40 for 2 beds. Staff wise with the exception of one main guy (who sings all the time) who sort of looked after us at the remote bar area, are so arrogant and unfriendly. After spending a small fortune (for us) throughout day on below mediocre food and shockingly bad cocktails we paid the bill and made our way to the main bar and was met by pretentious staff. Stopped and asked if they could us help us as we walked in the bar area with some self righteuos attitude, we couldn't of felt any more unwelcome. We said we wanted some drinks in the sun and were told where you can't sit...in an empty bar! We sat down and waited for about 20 minutes before waitress, who obviously isnt happy working in hospitality dropped some menus on our table and walked away. We eventually went to the bar to order drinks and were giving plastic cups for our wine and beer....barman never even looked up at us, acknowledged us or gave us a smile, just a dodgy look when told to fill the plastic cup up to the top with beer. Would of given 1 star if the setting wasn't...
Read moreOur meal here was absolutely fantastic. The food is excellent. It is fancier and more expensive than many restaurants around Rhodes, but the quality and presentation were beyond our expectations, and the restaurant is beautiful right on the water. We had a big party, and everyone's dish whether pizza or moussaka was excellent. We were also served efficiently, as the food came out very quickly, which was great. The chef came over to ask how our meal was, and I was happy to tell him how good it was. He seemed genuinely happy to hear that. The atmosphere is beautiful, and we brought friends from the USA there to experience it. It can be a little hot, so maybe more fans to move the air around would help, but we found our food to be absolutely delicious, and the service was great. Our servers were excellent. We have started a tradition of making this the place we go to celebrate our final days in Greece. We get pictures because it is so pretty and then we eat in this...
