A Hidden Gem in Rhodes

Tucked away in the heart of an olive grove, this enchanting restaurant is a rare treasure where tradition, authenticity, and genuine hospitality come together in perfect harmony! From the moment we arrived, we felt not like customers, but like cherished guests—something truly unique in a world full of tourist traps.

We enjoyed a delicious and authentic Greek meal, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients that you can instantly taste. The difference from other places we had visited was clear!

Dining barefoot on soft grass, with a gentle breeze, the sounds of cicadas, and relaxing music in the background—it felt like a little paradise.

One of the many things that makes this place so special is the presence of well-cared-for animals. The cats and the dog are calm, healthy, and clearly loved. Each one has its own bowl near the bar and walks around peacefully, as if they’re the guardians of this little Eden.

Our preferate restaurant in Rhodes! It is close to the Tsambika beach, where it is wonderful especially if you are with kids. The restaurant has a cosy familiar air, the food is great, i fell in love with the calamari, the clams and the kebab. What I loved the most was the garden, very peaceful and cosy with lots of toys for children, with wonderful hosts. The staff is very friendly, honest and they speack english and german. After being there 14 days in a row, we got to know each other and they knew exactly what to recommend us for eating and drinking. My daughter loved the place, as everyday she played in the garden with the cats ( they have 6-7 cats:) and their dog ( a very pretty pudel). Also, they have an air hockey machine where children can play. After each lunch or dinner they offered something from the house ( baclava cake or cold melon). During daytime the garden is refreshing because of the shaddow there, during evening is beautiful due to the small lights and the music. I highly recommend this place and I am eager to come back to Rhodes...

We ate at Taverna Edem, with our family after our day at Tsampika beach. The experience in general is so good that we came back two days later :)

Theodore and his beautiful family owns and operates the restaurant and you can tell that there is an effort in the place. Every dish we had was better than the other. Their mousakka and grilled calamari with ink mousse were our favourite.

The area is quite spatious and calm. There is a brand new playground area for kids, They even have kid tables and crayons for rock painting! So thoughtful.

Location is very close to Tsampika beach so perfect if you came to Tsampika...
