Taverna Athiri — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

We had the pleasure of having lunch at Taverna Athiri with our family on four lovely occasions during our stay — and we keep thinking about it!

The first time we stopped by was completely by chance, but we immediately fell in love with the charming location, the incredibly warm and welcoming hostess, and, of course, the amazing food. After that, we just had to come back again and again.

Every dish felt like it was made with love. Our absolute favorites were the saganakis, the gyros, and the souvlaki — simply delicious! The ice-cold beers were perfect for a sunny day, and every visit was made even more special thanks to the thoughtful service and genuine hospitality of the owner.

Taverna Athiri left a warm impression on our hearts — highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic Greek food served...

I didn't want to slander you or write anything bad, but I have to respond to your comment! we had lunch at your place, we paid including the tip, we left without complaining. Nice surroundings, nice staff, but the worst food I've ever had in 20 years in the whole of Greece! if someone gives you 5 stars for your stifado and the other food we had, they must have been to a Greek tavern for the first time and don't know how stifado looks and tastes! Your meal was a disaster - maybe you don't care about guests anymore after the season. in any case, I would expect humility and not that you would attack me for rating your lunch with 1 star, which you don't even deserve! Unbelievable !!! We have no words!!!! We came with my friends and everything was perfect it will become our daily destination now!!!! Everything you need for all tastes!!!! Whether seafood or meat everything was fantastic!!!! The calamari was divine, it melts in your mouth!!!! Top cheese balls!!!! And the souvlaki was a delight, so well cooked and juicy at the same time!!! I highly recommend it!!!! My congratulations to the chef!!!
