A Hidden Gem on One of Rhodes’ Best Beaches

Vammos Beach Bar in Afantou is the perfect spot for a relaxing beach day! The location is stunning, crystal-clear waters and a long, peaceful stretch of sand that’s easily one of the best beaches in Rhodes.

What really stood out were the super comfortable sunbeds and the king-size beds, perfect for unwinding in style. The prices are very affordable, making it a great value compared to other beach spots on the island.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, always with a smile and great service. We also tried a few snacks and were pleasantly surprised, everything was fresh, tasty, and fairly priced.

If you’re looking for a chill beach day with comfort, quality, and a beautiful setting, Vammos is definitely the place to be.

MUSIC IS WAY TOO LOUD.

Beaches don't need DJs.

Just play some chill low tempo music from YouTube and be done with it. All day you guys play high tempo eurodance music as if this is a 3rd rate nightclub.

Most people come to the beach to relax, read a book or listen to their own music on headphones. The level of music makes it impossible to even have a talk let alone read books. We were thinking of having food but we were deterred from sitting so close to the huge speakers so just ordered drinks. Staff are friendly.

Apparently food is good but I guess we'll never know. Beers were plenty cold.

We arrived at the hotel after dinner and were starving so had to find a place to grab a quick snack. We chose this place as it was the only one on the beach with the view of the sea and were not disappointed. Drinks were tasty ( Greek and regular Mojito), so was the gyros which was served in generous amounts (we were so hungry that making a photo which would show the abundance of items was impossible) Card payments are accepted. We returned to grab some frappe which was not the best we ever had but still was refreshing and smooth. Big plus for happy and friendly Staff - that is hard to come...

The fruit salad for 2p is more for 4p :-) They offered us 2 small bottles of water for free when renting two beds and umbrella.
