This place could be great. IF you get there when it is not busy. Which isn't often. When busy (which is the usual) everyone acts in a panic which is quite tiring. The food was not actually late but we never got to see a menu (were not even asked if we wanted one) so the charge at the end was a surprise! The bill took more than half an hour to prepare as they insisted to bring sweets. Food was good but kids really didn't deserve so much delay; one fell asleep waiting for them.
Also worth mentioning that this taverna tries to play a more upscale style by completely environmentally unfriendly cardboard holders for cutlery and other such items in pretty bad taste, similar to the big neon sign which glares over you as you eat.

Read moreFor us this was one of the top 3 restaurants in all Sithonia. Everything we had was delicios. Staff very friendly and helpful. I must mention that in one of the ocasion we took dinner there they offered a dessert composed of two plates, one with a cake containing orange i think and one lava cake with icecream (so good).
One thing that bothered us was that the last time we visited we asked to pay with card and the waiter who came with the POS asked us if we would like to leave tips via card - told him I have cash for tips that's ok and didn't want to tell him that it is rude to do that but i do find that to be very rude. I mentioned the last part in the hope that somebody from the staff will read this and instruct the staff not to do this again.
