Bloo restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

After reading many recommendations, we were eager to try this restaurant. From the street it didn’t look very promising, but we decided to give it a chance. We always like to support young people and their work.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We waited more than 40 minutes for the food, which turned out to be average at best. The bill was extremely high considering the ambience, the quality of food, and the service we received.

Most importantly, we were never given a proper receipt, only a piece of paper with the number “98” written on it. We asked several times for the actual bill but never got one. This left us feeling scammed.

This is not a restaurant for people with small kids that are not accommodated at their place. We found out this detail after arriving there. The "adults only" sign was taken off (or it fell on its own).

We looked at the reviews and thought that the food will be great, but it was not the case. The seafood was overcooked, the nuggets for the kids as well. They have their own recipe for tzatziki, we cannot say that we disliked it, but for sure we didn't love it.

There is one price for guests and another price for people that just stop by to eat. You are not told that.

Overall, this is probably a good place for people who are guests in their hotel and couples that want to drink something in the evening.

But my advice for families with children is to find another...

We had the chance to spend three nights in Greece and decided to stay at Casa Bloo, just outside Thessaloniki, and honestly, it was such a good call.

Our room was super nice, with a jacuzzi and an amazing view over the sea. The location of the place is just perfect, quiet, peaceful, and with views that are honestly hard to beat.

The staff were all so lovely, really friendly and helpful, and the food was so good too. And the drinks at the bar? Outstanding! The Batman was such a great host. Super welcoming and really knew what he was doing.

We split our time between the pool and the beach, and it was exactly the kind of chill we were hoping for. All in all, a great...
