Worst experience ever!!! Let me start from the beginning. The restaurant looked very attractive from the outside, modern and stylish, and fantastic view. But once we’ve entered, the nightmare has started. We were seated on the top floor in the middle of a crowd while our table was still not cleaned from previous visitors. The tables around us were so close that you could basically pick the food from your neighbours. The service was non existent, the waiters didn’t even look at you. After 20 minutes I managed to call a waiter to clean the table and bring the menu. We’ve ordered tzaziki and some bread, chicken fillet and pork fillet - nothing special. They brought the tzaziki only after 45 minutes however we had to ask several times for the bread that we’ve ordered along with it. Then we waited again for 1 hour 15 minutes for two simple main courses to arrive - meanwhile we were not hungry anymore and we thought about cancelling our order. In that moment the food arrived with the waiter saying “just in time” in an enthusiastic way. How ironic! The food itself was so disappointing! The pork had a weird taste, the chicken fillet was dry and the fries not cooked at all, so we left more than half of our dishes. The waiter asked if we haven’t enjoyed the food, so I told him my honest opinion in a polite way but all he answered was that it’s not his fault… We were speechless and just wanted to leave but had to wait another 20 minutes for the bill. And now the cherry on the top: my boyfriend and I were spending all night on the toilet, having food poisoning probably from the meat. Holidays ruined! If it was possible, I would give...
Read moreAte here one July 20th this year. Amazing food, laughable service. Instead of writing a nice story I will list the mistakes. 1 or 2 is ok... But this many was just a joke: -Other people seated before us because they had a 'reservation' which was not the case (spoke to guests afterwards) We sat down at dirty table and service cleaned table next to us first, whilst there were no guests at that table. Warm white wine served. Warm Rose wine served 1/2L wine and 1L water served without glasses. After pointing it out still took 5 min. Glasses were straight from the dishwasher,.and literally felt warm. In summer heat. After seeing ice buckets, requested one for our wine. 10 min later had to re-request. Served my dish to another table, but it wasn't theirs, went back to kitchen and came 7-10 min later with same dish, now luke-warm. I ordered a dish called "x" on menu, but they served it as "y".. so when I said I didn't order that, they said its "x"... Very confusing. They apparently call 'Nagasaki' 'Ramekin' at this place. Thought I was ordering something else.. forgot to serve me 'bread', upon request was served cold dry toast. -at the end of dinner some people get wet-wipes to clean hands, others actually got hand towels, felt like we didn't order enough for the 'nice towels'. -They did notice that they messed up and came to explain that it was because they had a large table that needed great service. That table.. got the 'nice towels!'
Wish the chefs would start there own place because would love to eat their food again, just not experience their...
Read moreWhen we entered the restaurant, there was music. The music was romanian, the kind of one that you hear at some weddings or in countryside bodegas where people go to get drunk. It's a very cheap kind of music that for many people is repulsive and offensive. And I know it, since I am romanian, as well. Once we sat down and the waiter came to us, I immediately addressed the topic and they said that the music is requested buy some guests, sitting at another table. I politely explained the context and the nature of the music and that it is bothering us and if the evening will be like this, we will leave before ordering. We were assured that is not the case and the music will be changed, however, while reading the menus, the music did not changed at all. After 20 minutes, we told them that we leave and they didn't seem to be really bothered. They said a 'sorry' with half a mouth and that was all. No intention what so ever to bring us back. Now we can be subjective in many aspects but to play a guest's own playlist in a place that pretends to be a top location is just something that you don't do. Even without understanding the language, you can clearly hear that such music does not belong to such a place. It's noisy, anoying and vulgar. And last but not least when somebody tells you as a guest that they are not comfortable and you don't do anything, it is showing a huge lack of respect. I could see it also on other guests that they were not enjoying the mood at all. Bottom line: I will never go...
