Glaros Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Sitia

I have never written a negative review for a business, out of respect for the hard work of employees, especially during busy periods. However, the audacity of the managers of this particular establishment exceeded all limits, and I feel compelled to share the unpleasant experience I had.

Last Sunday, August 17 at noon, I wanted to sit down for a coffee and some food, and I parked in front of the restaurant, in a public space where three other cars were already parked. Before I even had the chance to get out of the car, a visibly upset employee of the establishment approached me and, in a stern tone, insisted that I park in the store’s parking lot. Although I politely responded that I would leave my things at a table (there weren’t many available left) and immediately move the car, she returned in an even more aggressive tone, telling me that I had to move it NOW. When I replied that I don’t take orders and that if she had an issue, she should contact the police (again, I had parked in a public space), she shouted—loud enough for other customers to hear—that I was extremely rude and that she would not serve me!

She even encouraged her colleagues not to serve me either!

After this deeply unpleasant experience, I left in shock and went to another establishment where I was treated with the respect and courtesy every customer deserves. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to Glaros and will strongly encourage all my friends and acquaintances to do the same. Public space does not belong to anyone, and unlawful behaviour must be dealt with accordingly.

Hopefully, someone from the local police station is reading this review and is taking action to enforce our...

Πηγαίνω στο μαγαζί αυτό πάνω από 20 χρόνια! Παλιά που δεν τους ήξεραν ήταν πολύ ομορφα..τωρα ο αμανές έχει πάει πολύ ψηλά κ η πτώση μάλλον θα είναι απότομη! Φέτος νομίζω ότι πραγματικά οι τύποι έχουν χάσει τη μπάλα..δεν υπάρχει σεβασμός στο πελάτη κανένας. Τους βλέπουν όλους σαν πορτοφόλια με πόδια που έχουν ελάχιστο χρόνο παραμονής τα 15 λεπτά στο τραπέζι. Ουε και φύγεις να πας να κάνεις μια βουτιά ή να μιλήσεις σε κάποιον στο διπλανό τραπεζι..σου παίρνουν τα πράγματα (ήρθε και μου το είπε η σερβιτόρα με αναιδεστατο τρόπο) από το τραπέζι για να κάτσει το επόμενο πελατακι να τους τα ακουμπήσει. Το γεγονός ότι αυτό είναι ΠΑΡΑΝΟΜΟ (να ακουμπούν κ να μαζεύουν με το έτσι θέλω τα πράγματά σου..τα προσωπικά σου είδη) ούτε που το σκέφτονται..όχι μία αλλά πολλές καταγγελίες τους χρειάζονται..γιατί εννοείται ούτε λόγος για την απόδειξη..!! Α..και μην πας με παρέα και τύχει να πληρώσετε ξεχωριστά..μόλις φύγει η μία παρέα χρεώνουν στην άλλη πράγματα που έχουν πληρωθεί. Θέλει πολύ προσοχή!!

Επανέρχομαι..αν θυμάστε είμασταν παρέα πάνω από 15 άτομα που είναι αδύνατον να χωρέσει σε ένα τραπεζι 4ατομων που θα θέλατε ιδανικά να μας στιβάξετε..ο λογαριασμός επίσης είναι κάτι που θα έπρεπε να έρχεται στο τραπέζι του πελάτη και όχι να μένει στο ταμείο σας..αυτό και μόνο του λέει πολλά. Και αν δεν θέλετε να λειτουργείτε σαν ξαπλώστρες καλό θα ήταν να έχετε στο βουνό το μαγαζί σας ή να σκεφτείτε απλά να βάλετε περισσότερα τραπέζια να εξυπηρετείτε τους πελάτες σας και όχι να τους φέρεστε έτσι για να καλύπτεται την έλλειψη σας. Σας ευχαριστούμε που μας διασκεδάστε για άλλη μια φορά με τη συμπεριφορά σας και σας ευχόμαστε να μπορέσετε να παραμείνετε τόσο γεμάτοι παρόλη την...

The vibes of this spot were amazing! Super cozy and chill atmosphere that just makes you want to kick back and relax. And the food was absolutely delicious! The linguine with salmon was my personal fave, but the gazpacho soup was a close second for those who are into cold soups. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. All in all, if you're looking for a great meal in a cozy setting with some cool people, this place is definitely...
