I had the pleasure of visiting Malibu Tavern during my friends’ wedding, and I must say—it exceeded all expectations. The staff were fast, precise, and clearly masters of their craft. The service was smooth, professional, and left nothing to be desired. It was evident that everyone working there took great pride in what they do.
The food was a true highlight: every dish was made exclusively from local, high-quality organic ingredients. You could taste the freshness and authenticity in every bite.
During the rest of my stay in this part of the island, I made sure to return to Malibu Restaurant ( Tavern) at least once a day for a meal—and every single time, it was a fantastic experience. The consistency in quality and care was impressive.
The level of professionalism from both the service staff and the kitchen team stood out compared to other places in the area—even those that boasted Michelin guide recognition. Malibu Tavern may not advertise accolades, but it delivers where it truly counts.
Highly recommended! A must-visit if...
Read moreBest restaurant or tavern if you prefer in Corfu so far. Really don't know why we didn't visit until today. I guess it was the name that wasn't very Corfu-like. Huuuuuuge portions, excellent quality, taste (God!), service, really reasonable prices given the quality, the ingredients, the freshness, the service, the atmosphere, the view (you should visit before sunset)! Don't miss out!!! Got a Greek salad, a pork steak with french fries, a pork fillet with rice and fresh basil napolitana sauce, fresh bread, spicy feta cheese spread, bouyourdi (spicy baked feta cheese with tomato, peppers, onions and spices) and bruschetta with feta cheese and fresh tomato, a bottle of water and 2 beverages (in a tin can mind you, not the small bottles). Apart from the water and beverages (lol you know what you expect there) everything else was just fantastic! Best restaurant so far in Corfu! Outperforms (if that's a suitable word to use) every other place we've...
Read moreVisited the Malibu early in our holiday last month as we had seen such good reviews. Unfortunately we both made the mistake of ordering the Kleftico which is one if our favourite dishes. We couldn't believe it was brought to us within 5 minutes of ordering but unfortunately it was the worst meal we have ever eaten in Corfu which we have been visiting for 45 years or anywhere in Greece. It consisted of a lamb chop in a bowl which was mainly bone and fat and what little meat there was was tough. The potatoes were hard as well. Also ordered a caraffe of red wine, which is apparently home made, and this tasted of vinegar. My wife used to make wine and if a fly gets into the wine it ruins the wine with a problem called vinigar fly. This was almost certainly the problem. Would suggest the Malibu tries their wine first before serving it. They did change it for us but even that was the worst house wine we had on our holiday. We visited only...
