SALTY by XL - Beach & Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

Can I give it 6 stars? We spent a week in Agios Georgios and every day we got at least one thing from XL. They put great care and attention into everything they do. Everything we tried is worth recommending: Cappuccino Smoothie Fried feta Bruschetta Summer salad Cretan salad Greek style jacket potato Rib-eye steak We also requested a salad of ingredients we wanted and they were happy to make it. Not only were the people super sweet, the food excellent, but they also have the best beach in all of Agios Georgios.We tried various areas of the seashore, and their beach had the best entry to the water with few rocks. They also have a pretty good shower/changing stall on the beach. You can order most of the food or cocktails from the beach and have them delivered directly to your beach chair and umbrella combo (free from the restaurant for customers). Listen up! That’s the best place if your are staying around and not only! We had the best ever service experience we’ve ever had! The food was amazing, so delicious and fresh! The portions were huge! It was also not crowded as well! When we came, the tables with the view of the sea were all reserved, but at some point our server came and offered us a table there, as the reservation didn’t show up! So warm and welcoming it was! When we ordered the starters and the main all together, the chef himself came to ask us what we would like to start with first! That was so professional and very nice of him! We didn’t mind, that’s why we didn’t tell the server what we would prefer! Anyway, ITS A MUST! Don’t think about it much, just come and enjoy the best sunsets here with amazing food and great service! Can’t wait...

Really dissapointed with this place. The sign said: FREE SUNBEDS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. We came to ask about the sunbeds and they told us if we order over 8€ it is free. They did not specify nothing more about this.

So we ordered breakfast and drinks in restaurant and wanted to go down on sunbeds and than they said: “NO YOU CANT USE SUNBEDS. You have to order down at the beach if you want to be on sunbeds”.

Since we ate at the restaurant and the sign says that is free for the customers, what are we if not customers?!

+there is sign that there is FREE WI-FI on the beach. And there is NO WI-FI.
