We recently visited the wonderful restaurant "Δυο τζιτζίκια στ'αρμυρίκια" with a large family group - five adults and two children - and left with huge smiles and a feeling of true satisfaction. Fine tavern, but with a bad experience at the end of our meal. Would not recommend it, even if the food, and atmosphere was good.

This place was recommended to view the sunset and enjoy good food. The food was very good, we had the most amazing onion pie (I have never had anything like it in my life!). We enjoyed the sunset and everything, the service was fine, but there was a bad experience at the end of our dinner.

When the waiter came to pay, although the bill was 60.50 euro, he charged me, without asking me, 65 euros. When I asked him, he told me that this is how it goes and he has to give 4.50 euros to the waiters as tips. I asked if that was obligatory and he said yes, this is how it works.

I felt very uncomfortable and I could not just sit there and accept this, so when I asked another waiter if this is the policy of the restaurant, he answered "absolutely not" and that maybe this was a mistake and he called the manager. When the manager came, she apologised and said that maybe the waiter did not listen well etc, and I said how could he not listed well? I did not ask to leave a tip. If I wanted to, I would. He just charged my card in front of my face, with an extra amount!

I really felt like I am a stupid tourist and maybe he thought I would never ask for details and make a complaint.

In the end, we did not leave any tips and the manager gave us back our money.
