A brilliant gem. Excellent traditional local cuisine together with amazingly talented musical masters of the Rebetiko (Greek Blues) style of music. Presented in a completely acoustical format free of amplification of any kind, you actually feel as though you've been magically transported to the early 1920's. Not really super family friendly, more of a taverna/nightclub with food vibe. But everyone I've sent there has had an amazing time. Even few locals know of the existence of this delightful hidden nugget. The surrounding general area is a bit rough, but the actual street is very nice with plenty of parking, so I wouldn't view that as a deterrent. In the end of the world as you know it,in Thessaloniki, it's this place...The food was ok,too pricy for the size of the portion that was offered..The wine was the cheap sweet one with the added water that we all enjoy drinking as sixteen year olds...The music was not bad lacking the proper sound gear...that they tried to inadequately save starting with a sign that said don't speak loudly,and then with three remarks from the landlady and two times by the bouzouki player....The old house with the old things is amazing....I don't want to start with the one and only toilet for all of you attending....and the ventilation...no there is none...and all the meraklides(heavy smokers) where there....But yes I can say that I had a good time...I lived in the middle of the 20th century for...

Ignore the negative reviews of the conceited, self entitled and selfish who lack respect for the musicians and other patrons by yelling their conversation so others can hear.
