Clean, modern, bright, and friendly, this casual Greek grill and restaurant offers an extensive menu of salads and grilled meats, served in a pita or a platter. I started with the Special Prince’s Salad, which came with lettuce, corn, sun-dried tomato, and shredded (hard and salty) kefalotyril cheese, all drizzled with a sweet salad dressing and served on top of a crispy fried dough. The salad was on the sweet side for me, but I was a much bigger fan of the pita sandwiches we got. Grandmother’s Meatballs came with two juicy, grilled meatballs served in bread along with tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, and fried potatoes; and the Chicken Souvlaki came with juicy grilled chicken skewers, also wrapped in bread with the same accompaniments. They had multiple kinds of bread on the menu, including a standard pita, a thinner and larger Cypriot pita, and a zapata bread roll, but my favorite was the regular pita, which was griddled, crusty, light, chewy, and sprinkled with oregano. It went especially well with a side of their thick tzatziki sauce for dipping, and overall, everything here came at a great value and with super friendly...
Read moreMy first visit here was great. Food was tasty, and quickly served.
I went back today and was quite annoyed with the experience. It felt like the waiter was constantly trying to upsell me.
I ask for 2 pieces of chicken, he insists that I take the plate (which was a hugh portion that i couldnt finish).
I ask for a can of beer, he insists I take it from the draft.
Then when it's time to pay, I leave a note of 20 and some coins in order to get back a bill of 10. He jokingly says: "Is it all for us?". Then bring back a bill of 5 and some coins. Honey, I know this trick, as I've worked many years in HORECA. If you hadn't been so pushy and greedy you would have gotten a tip, as I always leave one.
A shame, as I have 2 more weeks in the city and now don't feel like coming back there, though I liked the place and it's very close to where I stay.
The chicken itself was quite dry for chicken thigs, but the flavors were good.

Read moreVery rude and with ironically attitude personnel. We were a group of 5 and moved the table literally 10cm to the side in order for my friend NOT to be in front of the toilets. Then the male waiter with a very rude tone said that there are no cleaner toilets and thought it is very fine and normal for my friend to be sitting in front of the toilet door while eating, then he moved the table back. While ordering my greek speaking friend ordered the ”kontosouvli chicken” and then IRONICALLY again he replied ”you mean the chicken souvlaki” and then my friend clarified and showed him on the menu that she wanted the kontosouvli. He then just commented that it is the same. Very good food BUT the treatment is very disappointing. I do not think i will be...
