Different — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

This restaurant is on the top of Thirassia, right after a very challenging climb but it’s worth the effort, believe me! When we arrived there the owner gave us a warm and smiley welcome and she let us choose a nice table by the cliff with an amazing view of the Caldera. The food is traditional, fresh and very tasty, the service is excellent and fast and prices are really convenient. We had an awesome lunch here and we would have remained longer if our boat was not about to leave the harbor. Our tour guide told us all the food at the port wasn’t worth eating, so we hiked up the stairs (~25 minutes) where there were two restaurants. We decided to go with the one with the higher Google rating, so we ate at “different”.

I have to admit I came here because of the good reviews but left disappointed. The moussaka for 9 € did not taste fresh, it almost didn't have any eggplants inside, I also heard the microwave beeping before I got it served.
