Our dining experience at Secret Kitchen Santorini was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by the warm, family-like atmosphere that made us feel right at home. It's rare to find a place where the food, the setting, and the people all come together to create such a magical experience, but Secret Kitchen manages to do just that.
One of the absolute highlights was Konstantinos. His passion for cooking and sharing stories was infectious. As he prepared our meal, he regaled us with tales about Santorini, its rich culinary history, and personal anecdotes that added so much depth to our evening. His storytelling was as much a part of the experience as the food itself, turning our meal into a journey through the island’s culture and traditions.
Also a highlight for us was Mariella's incredible food. Her talent in the kitchen is unparalleled, and every dish that came out was a testament to her skills and creativity. The meatballs, in particular, were a standout—perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor. They were easily some of the best we've ever had, a true reflection of authentic Greek cuisine done exceptionally well. Each bite was pure comfort, making it impossible not to go back for seconds.
The combination of Konstantinos' engaging presence and Mariella's culinary brilliance made us feel less like customers and more like old friends being welcomed into their home. This sense of genuine hospitality is what makes Secret Kitchen so special. By the time we left, we didn’t feel like guests; we felt like part of their extended family. It was so interesting and heartwarming to hear about why the idea and concept of Secret Kitchen first came about.
For anyone visiting Santorini, a meal at Secret Kitchen is an absolute must. It's more than just a dining experience—it's a celebration of food, stories, and connections. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and a sense of having made new friends. Thank you, Konstantinos and Mariella, for an unforgettable evening. We can't...

Our family had the absolute pleasure of joining a private cooking class at Secret Kitchen in Santorini, and it was truly the highlight of our two-week trip through Greece (which included multiple cities!). From the moment we arrived, Mariella and Eva made us feel like welcomed guests in their home. They are exceptional hostesses—warm, knowledgeable, and so much fun. Mariella shared not only her incredible recipes but also her deep love for Greek culture, customs, and cuisine. What made the day even more special was that we were celebrating my birthday—and to my complete surprise, Mariella had prepared a homemade, gluten-free chocolate cake just for me! As someone with celiac disease, I was deeply touched and so grateful. The cake was absolutely delicious, and I was able to enjoy every dish we prepared throughout the day without worry. They were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating of my dietary needs. Over six+ hours, we went from strangers to friends, cooking, laughing, and learning together. The experience was personal and immersive, complete with personalized aprons (including one made just for our youngest child who didn’t travel with us), generous leftovers, and a treasure trove of recipes to recreate the magic at home. We can't recommend Secret Kitchen highly enough. If you're heading to Santorini, this is an absolute must-do. It's already at the top of our list for a return visit—Mariella and Eva, we can’t wait to...
Read moreIf I could give Secret Kitchen more than 5 stars, I would. My best friends and I were in Santorini for 2 days and had originally planned to go to the Secret Kitchen cooking class on Monday (our last day of our 7 day Greece trip) but had to change plans last minute to accommodate a scheduling change that was out of our control - Mariella and Eva were kind enough to host us on Sunday despite usually being closed that day and were more than welcoming when we arrived on their day of rest. They also pick you up and drop you off, which is so necessary on the islands as transportation is extremely expensive.
From the very start, they made us feel like family, and explained to us that while we showed up as strangers we would leave as friends, and we did just that. They shared with us history of Greece, the islands formation and what made them unique, details about the food we were making and the ingredients we used to make them, and so much more. We enjoyed a day full of Greek coffee, sweets, wine, traditional platters, laughs and lots of love in every moment. They were also kind enough to reach out after and share every recipe we made AND some additional recipes we briefly mentioned during the class of things we liked or wanted to try at home. This was an unforgettable experience and I fully intend on returning one day - 100/10 would recommend if you are ever...
