The lambchops are legendary! Honestly there's no other way to describe the best lambchops I have ever tasted in my life (we went back the next day and I had them again!!!). Seriously, I am a tad upset because since visiting this amazing restaurant all other lambchops in Greece could be classed as 'nice' or 'adequate' but none can ever compare to the delicious magic that this restaurant serves up. Same goes for the pita and the tzatziki. Holy Moses and Medusa.. I will never find such mouth-watering great food anywhere else. The owners are a wife (professional chef) & husband team, working every day of the week. Their gentle kindness and lovely humour made us smile. We had an AirBnB on this side of the island (right below the restarant at the sea). We wished we had gone the 1st evening on Santorini here...Why eat anywhere else??? The panorama sea view on the terrace is amazing and at the time we went (18:00) there was hardly anyone there. The few folks there loved and raved about the food as well. Such large portions, great hospitality and run by two wondrous people who work hard. Go there, indulge and tip well, my fellow foodies! :) These restaurant owners deserve a ton of patronage to the fullest. P.S: Vicky I want the...

fWe found this restaurant come upon. but we can tell it was good luck. The restaurant is located under the road, and not visible from the route, othervise view from restaurant to seaside is amazing. The crew and ovner is one person She is skilled and recommend us suitable food and she was able to explain us how they prepare the foods . All time keeping smile was as a bonus, the food was delicious. Even we had our accomodation on opposite of island, next day we organise our trip. that we be able to visit the restaurant again, and they didn't disappoint our opinions again, the food was excellent too. We visited lot of Greek restaurants, and the high keeping is as standard, but this is written in our minds as no:1! I have noticed the restaurant isn't high level restaurant, but friendly, wholeheartedly offer and pleasant servings increase the restaurant to different levels which is pleasure to visit and enjoy it. We warmly recommend as one of sightseeing of aisle Santorini. we saw ones sunrise in Oia, but we visited this restaurant second time, unfortunately our time is limited by rental car. We kross fingers and wish the hold same standard -...

If you’re ever going to run out of fuel in your quad bike, on Santorini, then make sure it’s just outside this place, like I cunningly did.

Prey to whatever deity you choose to have the same fortune as me.

We didn’t make it to the service station and stopped here whilst our companions went for fuel.

They opened up for us, gave us water and let us sit inside in the cool to wait for the fuel.

If I could give them 10 stars for service I would!!!

It was a quick transition from “waiting for fuel” to “let’s get lunch” and that took our experience to the next level.

Ask them for their specialties, and you’ll it be disappointed.

This is actual, traditional Greek home cooking, just like any YiaYia would serve up on Sunday after church.

Slow cooked lamb was worthy of many slices of bread to mop up all the juices. Do not miss this!

The best tzatziki we’ve tasted so far, by far.

Home cooked veggies and lamb chops from the grill were all outstanding as well.

All this with an uninterrupted view of the coastline for 180 degrees. Check the...

Tonight is our second night visiting steki (we sadly only stay 3 nights in Santorini). We fell in love with this family owned restaurant, from their genuine and authentic love for their visitors, and their food, to their stunning views and atmosphere. We got to know the owners out of curiosity, and learned that the lady in the photo below (middle) is the wife of a husband-and-wife duo. She works 6am to closing and prepares food for the day, and her husband operates the grill. We told her how much we loved our time there, and after we took a few photos together, she surprised us with a little gift- a Santorini souvenir clock. It's hard not to absolutely adore this restaurant. And the people!!! P.s. I even tried to tip them twice and the owner just said "it's ok don't worry about it." They seem so wholesome and not just about the money- a nice reprieve from NYC. Please visit this place if you can!

We made reservations ahead of time and arrived at 7pm but there was plenty of open seating (arrived on a Thursday). The server was extremely kind and helpful. Very welcoming. She ended up being slammed and the only server when the restaurant filled up around 9pm, but was still kind and attentive. Recommend the saganaki appetizer (delicious!), fresh pita bread and tzatziki. We got the grilled shrimp (they were massive!) and the bolognese (less red sauce but still flavorful). The highlight was dessert! The chocolate souffle was amazing and so was the kataifi. The restaurant also provided an unexpected treat at the end! Reasonable prices, exceptional service and kind, welcoming staff. You can tell the food is made with love. We'd definitely return!
