Botilia — Restaurant in Municipality of Tinos

The ambiance is nice, with jazzy music, cute furniture and lighting. However, while the food is quite okay, the service is pitiful. 10 minutes of waiting before even getting a hello. Once seated, the waiter didn’t address a single word to us the whole time. He quite literally threw the plates at us, no smiles, nothing. We understand it was a busy night but still, it doesn’t justify this behavior. On top of that the food is tasty but nothing amazing. Botilia is my favourite place to eat in Tinos Island,in fact my family’s favourite. The place is so clean and you can detect a good service from it. About service, everything is so perfect,they have hospitality,understanding and smile. Food is so delicious and well cooked, everything is served so fresh and in the greatest taste. Place has so good view and you can find easily a place where the wind does not come toward you. Music is so well chosen ,calm to accompany your food. We have eaten very time there and each is better than last so we will continue coming in...

At Botilia, we ordered the calamari and meatballs. The calamari were a bit salty, which we later learned is a common preparation style in Tinos. This experience made us more cautious when ordering similar dishes elsewhere, ensuring we specified no added salt. On the other hand, the meatballs were incredibly delicious, a real highlight of our meal.
