Ladokola — Restaurant in Municipality of Tinos

After arriving late on in Tinos my partner and I both really needed to sit down and have a small bite to eat. so we went here as we thought the many locals who were sat there could only bode well. We sat at our table and ordered a couple of beers. We wanted some pita gyros to share however the waiter said that it wasn't available (it was 3.50 euros). He said only the other options were available so I had to choose the next thing, the cheapest of which was 8.50 Euros. We had a very average meal with tough meat and were very disappointed! As I went to pay, I saw the very same waiter serving some family the pita gyros which I initially wanted after confronting him he gave me a VERY poor excuse and quickly gave me the bill to get rid of me!! To add insult to injury he was expecting 20 euros for a meal and 2 beers, we didn't even touch the bread he bought out nor did we even break the seal of the water bottle! Tired tourists getting scammed left and right!! Not a good experience, would avoid...

Stopped to pick up some food on the go before we entered the boat back to Rafina.

Entered and ordered some food. The guy at the till commented on my ordered " we have 10,000 euros monthly costs for the store and your €15 of order really saved us" . This was totally uncalled for - so I responded something in the lines of "I m sorry about this." He started commenting on the fact that I had a mask on (compulsory indoors due to covid19 measures in place) and asked me to take it off... Got the food and left. Food was decent.

Service was one of the worst I ve ever had - due to the provocative comments of this guy. Such bad service is an achievement for a take away purchase. The people working there seemed to tolerate the person I interacted with- so possibly he was the owner or shift supervisor. Quite a pity - but on the other hand there are lots of option for food in the port of Tinos. No need to return...

I went there tonight. Absolute nightmare : food almost not comestible because of salt eveywhere on both souvlaki and plate french fries. People working there not sympathic : they gave me a table completely exposed to wind; that's not a problem because in Tinos wind is often present; the thing is firtsly that they didn't do anything to make the paper protection for table stable since there were others blocking trick on other tables (I felt like my table was about to fly away). Secondly, when I arrived, there was a place in the middle of the restaurant, but they didn't gave it to me, they put me near the street where the wind was very strong; 10 minutes later, a couple arrived and they gave them the table. Why ?

Absolutely disappointing because i went 3 times before in the restaurant and the food was good...
